I smell a remake (I wish)

the_square_posterexcellent movie. hollywood could ruin its grittiness if it did get its hands on this one (by smoothing things out, especially the lines from the leading man’s face). Joel Edgerton can reprise his role. I’d love to see bp in it. In the lead of course, as the slightly older man enamored by a young pleasingly plump incidental femme fatale (no, the actress in the movie isn’t round at all but i want an unemaciated, healthy looking somebody in the role opposite bp). he falls for her hard. her intentions are not clear but you want them (as an audience) to be sincere. a regular guy unravels as the situation makes him more and more desperate. is he lucky or unlucky, it’s hard to say. that would be an awesome movie.
