WOODSTOCK – The stage for the Woodstock Film Festival panel was crowded Sunday morning. There was a fighter-pilot U.S. president, an aging cowboy sidekick, a roguish spaceship pilot, a black merchant, a jilted lover and an unrelenting detective among the dozens milling about. That is, to say, there was Bill Pullman. The winner of the film festival’s Excellence in Acting award slouched in the plush red cushions of one the two chairs on the stage.
